Postdoctoral Research Fellow

Start date: ASAP

Project: The fellow will work on a federally funded project of developing a generalizable technology platform, based on modular synthetic microbial consortia, for sustainable production of biofuels/bioproducts using atmospheric carbon dioxide and nitrogen.

Degree requirements: The candidate will have completed, or be close to completing, a Ph.D. degree in chemical/biological engineering, microbiology, biochemistry, or another related field.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual who wants to drive their own research project while working closely with both internal and external collaborators.

The candidate will join a dynamic research group located at the North Campus Research Complex (NCRC) of the University of Michigan. Our group, and the Department as a whole, strives to provide a stimulating and collaborative research environment for all the trainees and to support their professional advancement.
